For those of us who work in a shop environment or have a garage type workshop, odds are that you will come across an accessory or two that uses this type of ¼” by 20 tpi through-hole knob and bolt. Or maybe you like to build your own jigs and fixtures for jobs you do over and over again. Either way you are going to need a few of knob and bolts like these to secure or affix your jigs and fixtures through out your shop.
Typically, these through-hole knobs and bolts are used with mini slot track (NOT INCLUDED), however, the 1½” long bolts can fit through ½” or ¾” thick stock to secure or affix most any type of object. Trying to find the right length bolt is always a challenge but NOT with this through-hole knob. The top of the knob is open so that the bolt can pass through the knob no matter what length bolt you use. This makes using this knob with any project quick and simple.
Many different workshop accessories use ¼” by 20 tpi bolts. Router bit guards, stop blocks, flip stops, fence feather boards, tabletop feather boards, router table fences, router table tracks, miter gauge fences and a whole lot more can use ¼” x 20 tpi through-hole knobs and bolts. The through-hole knobs and bolts are the perfect s for lost or damaged knobs and bolts for all of those accessories and more!
Another great feature of this pack is that they will fit in different brands and styles of t-slot track. Universal Track and Double Cut Tracks are essentially the same type of track that are designed to accept both standard hex head bolts and t-style bolts. The bolt will also fit High-end Anodized Mini T-Track with no play and provide a smooth adjustment in the track. High-end Anodized Mini T-Track accepts hex head bolts and holds better with much less play than universal or double cut tracks.

The 1-1/2" long bolt is the ideal size for most common projects. It may of course be swapped out for a longer bolt (not included) in needed.
Fits multiple profiles of aluminum track
With the 1/4" x 20 tpi bolt size being so common, many manufacturers have chose to design track to accept this bolt head size. This is true throughout the track manufacturing industry. This means that in all likelihood you may already have the right track in your home or workshop. Ideally, you want a track that provides the least amount of play or slop when the bolt is inserted into the track. Most double cut or universal tracks are made for "t-bolts" as well as hex head bolts.The ideal type of track to use for your projects is a High-end Anodized Mini T-Track that has been specifically designed to accept hex head bolts. This ensures the least amount of play when the bolt is inserted and it also makes sure the bolt won't slip out. This kit is ideal for working with this type of Mini T-Track.
