    Description

1967 Schwinn Fiesta with intact headlight and working horn Plus a mystery gift.
Make no mistake, this is the vintage Schwinn you have been waiting for! 1967 Schwinn Fiesta, 24 inch frame with single speed coaster brake hub. This gorgeous survivor was hanging in a workshop shed for 40 years in upstate NY, waiting for a new home.
This ride is in great shape for a 55year old bicycle, but let’s get real. The violet finish is in good shape, but has the nicks and scratches that should be expected as normal. The finish is oxidized but should come back nicely with a little work. There is surface
    rust on
the chrome, but should come back with a little effort. The heaviest rust
    is on
the handlebars. Tires do hold air. Graphics are in great shape. Saddle looks terrific with no rips, holes or tears. Rear fender is missing the reflector
    and has
a small crease on one side. Front fender has its trailing edge a little dented. See a video of this bike here https://youtu.be/o9dl-5yvHnE
    Here is the exciting part!
    Factory headlight
is fully intact and in great shape.
Just add a battery and bulb! It even has the plastic lens! Bike
    was stored
without the battery in the headlight, so no corrosion.
Next up is the tank and the horn. Tank is in great shape with good paint and graphics, no dents. When opened,
    there was
a vintage battery, long since dead, but did not leak. A new battery was put in, and after a little fiddling with the button, the horn sounded. It was LOUD! So often these old horn units stop working or at best only work a little. This one sounds great!
I recommend local pick up if possible. I am sorry that shipping is so high, chalk it up to high fuel costs. I am willing to deliver in person within two hours of Poughkeepsie NY for a fee less than shipping.
If this is to be your next daily driver, I strongly recommend a full tune up from a mechanic in your local
    bike shop
    .
Oh yea, the mystery gift? Something nice for the wife/mom/sister who supports your hobby of vintage bicycles. It will be in the box with your bike.
Don't let this one go by, you'll kick yourself. Will you give this fine example a good home? Feel free to contact me with any questions.
