    this barrel band was custom made by me. Bison workshop. it is designed to do two jobs. to take care of the barrel drop and to add a red dot or flashlight. NOT TO BE USED FOR A BI POD. a bi pod should never go on the barrel. these will slid on the barrel just past or even with the back side of the fill cap and has a set screw in the bottom to secure to the barrel. if you break it installing this barrel band. you are installing it wrong and it will not be replaced. i take mine off 2 or 3 times a day almost every day and have never broke mine. if you break it you need to buy another one.
