Vintage Original Dutch Made 1972 Gazelle Tour de L’avenir 10 Speed Bicycle as featuring Huret Derailler, Weinmann Brakes and an English made Wright’s Saddle. This bicycle is a one owner having been bought new in 1972 at Raleigh Shop in Columbia, SC by the current owner. It was used regularly for the period of a year and then was ridden only seldom and has always been stored carefully. Conditionally, the bright ware is nice and on the rims is beautiful and shiny, frame is sound/tracking is accurate, smooth shifting, paint has a few minor scattered chips on crossbar; decals and badging are in great shape, saddle is in well preserved shape and wrap to the handlebars intact. It will need replacement of one handlebar plug and the rubber is now 5 years old though little ride time, but some minor evidence of aging, but still holding good pressure. This is truly a beautiful, classic racing bike. It is offered for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY to avoid risk of damage in shipment.
