    Description

For sale is an Inuit wood mask circa early 19th century.
Inuit people living in the south coast were able to obtain wood from where rivers deposited fallen trees.  Some reaped fabulous harvests of wood which was used for many practical purposes.
    This Inuit mask is 5 1/2 " long and approx. 4" .
It is in very good used condition with expected wear.
This mask came from the E. Stendahl collection; a prominent art dealer and family business in California.
This is quite a rare piece and would be a great addition to an Inuit art collection.
I have been selling AUTHENTIC Native Art since 1999 on eBay so buy with confidence.
