    Description

    Set of 36 !
    Die Cast Toy Jeeps
In their Dime Store Shelf Display Box
This extraordinary set is from the 1960's
    The box says, 3 Dozen - 36 Toys ~
    Midgetoy
~ A&E Tool and Gauge Co., Rockford, ILL. and is bedecked with the famous
    Midgetoy Elves.
It has a perforated top that folds up and back into a display marquis box. It looks very attractive on a shelf. The display marquis reads Midgetoy ~ No Sharp Edges, Beautifully Finished, Break Resistant, Die Cast Construction, Ideal size, Built for Hard Play. It also proclaims,
Step on it! It won't Break
    and
    Wheels Won't Mar or Scratch!
The box has "Egg Crate" style cardboard separators that keep the cars from banging against each other.
You get one box of jeeps like shown in the photos.
    You Get 36 Assorted Jeeps!
The jeeps are 1 ¾ inches long. They have extraordinary features and details! From the utility front bumper, and the short windshield, to the rear mounted spare, this toy vehicle is a scale model of the 1950's style military jeep! You get them just like the dime store got them! They come in assorted colors, we don't control the mix, but there are several different colors including Metallic Blue and Metallic Green, White, Yellow, Brown, Blue. There is minor surface rust on the axles, and some have a minor fleck of age patina, otherwise, Perfect Condition!
