    Description

    Presenting an
exquisite wooden model of a two person kayak, replete with oars and twine over the delicately curved top where supplies would have been lashed.
There are no markings to tell us who make this almost museum quality piece of art.
The original collector mostly had items from the Canadian Pacific Northwest - Salish, Tlingit, etc. But when one thinks of kayak, the Inuit come to mind.
    28 x 3-1/2 x 3
I can see no condition issues,
    albeit
maybe hairline crazing to the wood
    lacquer
    .
The excellent condition makes me think this is quite modern, past 20-30 years or so.
I am not an expert, it's just a beautiful thing I bought some time ago and much now must part with it.
Can take more detailed photos with serious inquiry.
If shipping seems steep, it's because this needs
    exceptional
    care in
    handling
. I'd rather overestimate costs and reimburse any significant overage.
