    Description

    Here we have a new improved modern valve stem poppet plus all of the necessary "O" ring seals for a complete servicing of the Smith & Wesson 78G or 79G Model 41 target pistol which is a direct replacement for your gun's original brass valve stem with a seal that has failed and the original seals that have hardened and failed.  This is the valve stem poppet and seal kit I use to reseal the
    Smith & Wesson and Daisy versions of the guns and includes the seals I have found to be superior for sealing these models.  Installation requires some tools-- metal picks to remove hard "O" rings, a tapered "rat tail" file to extract the extension sleeve (part number 11251)

    and small needle nose pliers to S&W sold their air gun division to Daisy who continued to make the pistols after they renamed them as model 780 and 790 versions and this kit also fits those models.
    I have never had one of these returned, it is a high quality urethane valve stem and polyurethane O rings that never fail to seal the gun properly.  It will seal your gun as long as the valve seat is not damaged, so be sure your gun is not damaged before ordering.  This stem is a direct replacement for the original brass valve stem,
    NO MODIFICATION
    is necessary to your gun, just replace the original stem with this one (it uses the original valve spring), reassemble the gun and begin shooting.
