Seen as a joyful messenger, the Hummingbird is a symbol of health and healing.
William comes from a family of artists: his brother is established artist Rande Cook and his niece is emerging artist Jazmine Cook. He works in the traditional Kwakwaka'wakw style and has worked with Patty Seaweed, Henry Nelson, and Frances Dick. He is primarily a jeweler, but he began creating cedar panels in 2013.
