    Description

Up for grabs is this tricked out REDLINE RL20 II Prostyler with a full cr-mo frame and lots of goodies. Very nice original survivor! GT Dyno pretzel bars, pencil fork pegs, Skyway Tuff Wheels II, Viscount Aero saddle with BMX Laprade mount , blue anodized made in Japan seat post etc. This bike was in garage storage for the past 35.  I spent about 6 hours polishing it and it cleaned up very nicely. Some expected fading and rubs to the decals (I see NOS decals just sold here on ebay so if you bought them this is the bike to put them on) light pitting in a few spots on the frame and handlebars, road rash to the pedals and pegs but the frame is nice and straight with no damage or repairs.  It needed tubes, tires and grips to make it a rider so I replaced them with a set of Goodyear heavy duty tubes with white knobby Blackburn tires and fresh grips. Its been about 45 years since I got my first BMX bike a Schwinn Scrambler from the Denville Cycle Center. Jack was the owner. He was a cool dude and drove a silver 67 corvette convertible and was an exclusive Schwinn dealer. A very lucrative business back in the day! He had the best selection of skateboards, bikes and accessories around. It was my candy store. I spent hours looking at all the accessories in the showcases and then would figure out how many lawns I would need to cut or driveways to shovel to be able to trick out my bike with the next best thing.  With hard work and a little help from mother nature I started checking things off the list and had the coolest bike around. I don't think anything kids get today iPhones, tech gadgets etc. even comes close. I learned about all the mechanicals and I built it all by myself! NO youtube cheat sheet! 45 years later I still remembered how to take it apart and put on tubes and tires etc...its like riding a bike! Buyer pays .00 insured shipping to the lower 48. I ship bikes partially disassembled in a heavy duty box. I add extra padding too so it will arrive in the amazing condition you see it here. Thanks for looking! Bid to win!
