SEARS FREE SPIRIT 1980s OLD-SCHOOL BMX BIKE RETRO CHROME BICYCLE VINTAGE 1984

Description

This 1984-1986 Sears & Roebuck Free Spirit FS600 old-school bmx bike has a classic chrome frame, 20-inch knobby "Golden Boy" Kenda Comp III knockoff tires, and is equipped with Star Brand brakes, hubs and accessories. It was sold through Sears department stores and Wish Books, but is a genuine high-quality bmx bike (I just don't know who manufactured it for them). It has been meticulously cleaned and detailed. There are some minor rust spots and blemishes, but no serious cosmetic damage (please inspect photos to grade cosmetic condition). Frame is structurally sound with no cracks or dents. Tires have minor cracks in the gum walls, but are overall still in very good shape, hold air, and look like they got very little use. Crank and freecoaster hub have not been greased, but operate smoothly as-is. Rims are not warped, and the bike was fully tested after reassembly and rides great. Also includes the original chain guard, kickstand and a couple of safety reflectors. All of these uncool poser parts were removed for a cleaner look, but you have the option to put them back on. The bike will be disassembled for safer and more affordable shipping. Free local pickup is available (we live about 30 mins east of Atlanta, GA).
