The Motebecane Grand Jubile (yes, just one E) of the 70's has always been one of my favorite touring bikes, so when I found this 25" frame I quickly bought it to build into a perfect bike for riding on paved bicycle paths like the Centennial Trail between Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. This bike has the original paint, which has some small blemishes from use, but is still beautiful and marks it as a classic. The lugged frame is made from Vitus 172, double butted, chrome moly steel. On the frame is a vintage Campagnolo nuovo record seat post, Stronglight roller bearing headset and Nitto stem. Also included are brand new components, including: Brooks B67 saddle, Tektro brakes, Sturmey-Archer 3 speed rear hub and shifter, Origin 8 front hub, Sun Cr18 rims, DT spokes, Velo Orange bars, VO bottom bracket, MKS (RMX) pedals, Gatorskin 32 mm tires, kick stand, and leather seat pouch. This is a fast rolling, light classic that is perfect for bicycle paths.
